Hi everyone,

I am looking to create a site similar to myfreecams. I know there have been similar threads before, but I do not want to go through an affiliate site, and am having a difficult time figuring out how to do this without one.

From what I can tell, there are a few ways of going about this, but I would love if one of you guys familiar with the industry could share some insight in regards to what the best plan of action is (ie. step by step...:speechles).

My main concern is creating a control panel that is easy-to-use for both the user and the live-streaming girls...and of course, isn't too expensive per month. Right now my estimated cost is $300-$400 per month, but I'm still

Is there any kind of one (or two)-stop-shops that are NOT an affiliates? ie. hosts designed with this or psychic/counseling purposes in mind. I know it is probably more work and more expensive/risky in the beginning, but I would like the money from my customers to go directly into my paypal and THEN for myself to be able to pay the people working on my site. I don't want to have to take commission from an affiliate and then pay the people on my site, if you get my concern.

Can any of you great BH guys lend me a hand into what the steps are to starting a site like myfreecams (on a lesser scale...10-50 girls online at a time in the beginning) without the middle man?

Thank you! :D

$300-$400/per month ?Just forget it and stick with a whitelabel...
You will need a good design & script (probably coded) $4-5k+
Dedicated server $400-$500+/month
Marketing+traffic $5k+/month
Recruit and pay 10-50 girls a fix monthly fee (before models starts to register) to be online $10k+
Billing act with visa/mastercard $500+ yearly

Hi Ba_Laz. Thank you for your comment, but could you explain in detail the steps in more detail?

It is okay if I have to spend more money in the beginning. I do NOT want to use a whitelabel..

I would say you need a good $20k-$30k startup money ...
You need a good script,if you can code your own you can save money,if not you need a coder + you need a good server. You need billing account to process payments(adult payment processor) (+add affiliate program)
Traffic+marketing, you need TONS of traffic, even with email signups you will convert 1:30 - 1:50.If you buy traffic that is about $3-$4 per 1000 unique. You would want 50k+/day to start making any money
Camgirls not gonna register and spend their time on an empty site,so you would need to pay some of them a fix price to be online, many can make $200+/day on other sites, and when you buy traffic you want to have some 10+ girls online anytime

We can do a JV where I can provide you the website as the investment !!!!!! send me your contact info so that we can talk !!!!!

Yes this is a significant undertaking, you may want outside investment.

I am in. I have a dozen or so ladies right now that I set up with my studio and am running everything through a few different cam sites. Pay is ok but they all take way to big of a percentage. I just joined to post this so I cant pm you yet. My partner is a sexy woman and she can recruit with the best of them. Let me know how this project is going or if you want to start it back up.

A word of advice: don't waste your time.

You need serious bankroll and good traffic sources to start up a cam site. Think of the logistics here:

1 - You need girls on the site. You need to pay these girls to be online if you don't have customers (they're not going to hang around your site for free!)
2 - You need customers to attract good cam models. You need to do this via your own traffic sources or by buying traffic from traffic networks, or cpa programs. We're talking $1k to $2k per day just to start (I'm lowballing right now. It would probably require more).
3 - You need to have a decent tech setup for live streaming. I don't know how much that costs since I've never done it.

Basically, look at who is doing cams successfully and ask yourself why there aren't more companies?

Answer: Because its hard and very very very expensive.

20k-30k ain't going to do much. You need 6 figure investments or more to even make a dent in the market.

Ye breaking into adult industry will be hard as hell with so much competition as stated above 20k-30k won't be enough ;) not sure if 500k would be enough to start it off

Nowadays you don't have to invest so much at the beginning. Using our service Modelnet you can get your own webcam website for $295/monthly or $3k one-time. We also provide girls to your site from the other partnership sites of Modelnet network. It is not a whitelabel program you get fully customisable website with all the code.

Our company does software for webcam websites. All the adult websites are combined into Modelnet network. In Modelnet newbie website could get models almost for free. At the same time such new website could hire own models and share when with the other partner sites to get traffic to models. PM me with any further questions. Thanks.

Uhm.. Before everything, you should really check whether your country allows you to make adult websites like this. There was a guy from Indonesia (I think) who was arrested for making porn sites.
