Most product pages are just a very long page with a lot of images. Use a photo editing software to make your product look "cool", but honestly, don't overdo it. I've seen product launches with way too many graphics and colors and it just gets chaotic. Oh and try to keep it shorter than others. Some have hundreds of images and it takes too long to read. Keep it nice and short.
Just take a look around and you'll see what I'm talking about. You can even look at the marketplace selling threads here. A lot of people model product releases on websites by creating fancy graphics and cool designs to promote their product.
I say just use a blank template with maybe a border on the inside, a header, and a lot of page space! Just because the template isn't "cool" doesn't mean you can't make it cool!
