How to create a price comparison site?

Hey

Does anyone have any information on this?

Having trouble figuring out how to pull data and collect it all.

Well most of the large online stores have open APIs that you can use to gather all the data required like product names prices description etc. What you have to do next is a simple comparison script based on the price attribute. Another way to go would be to just partner with price comparison sites like nextag or shopzilla .

Thanks for replying.

Any guidance on when I have/get the API where do i begin looking for help as to how to gather all the data etc? Not wanting it done for me (willing to learn) just dont know the terms to look for.

Would be using it with wordpress ideally, but open to other ideas...

Well Easy way is to Hire someone Who Already done similar Job. Ask him Question like this & Pay him for site with extra feature & you Ready to Rock.
