How to Create a Post

So basically if I compare to other social media, commenting is posting and posting is making a thread.. right? Please explain if possible because I'm a little too confused.. and how do I find threads in general to post?

I am new to BHW. I just have to reply to any thread for 3months, correct me if wrong?
What's next we have to do?

My understanding is that, it is an interesting place to promote business or take it to the next level. Also we have opportunity to meet multi talented people in the forum who can give us opportunity to work on their projects . Only thing is being a newbie, we are to do 100 post or reply to any thread. Correct me if I am wrong.

Yes. When you reply to a thread, that's a post. But when you start a discussion, you call that a thread. It's as simple as that.

Commenting on other people's post (thread) is posting, while starting a discussion is a thread.

This thread was about how to write a post, that is, how to comment on threads. Check the Newbie Guides for how to post a thread.

I am a newbie here and could not understand how to post on existing post on market place. How ever it says account should be 60 days old or have to create 100 post but I do not get any option anywhere. Please anyone help me.

The '60 days old and 100 posts count' is for becoming a Jr.VIP (https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/upgrades) - which is a requirement for opening/starting a marketplace thread.

However, there is no restriction for posting on an existing marketplace thread as far as I know.

so a reply counts as a post? If so, that’s refreshing to know. I thought it was going to take an Indian summer before I’d be able to lose the Newbie badge, lol
