for simple commerce site, i recommend using wordpress or prestashop. Use wordpress if you have some experience with cms or just install prestashop for 'instant' e-commerce site.

.. magento isn't that simple at all :) + it is very heavy (you will need a dedicated server to run a busy magento server fast enough).

    +1 for PrestaShop :)

    Paymens - Paypal only

the thing about ecommerce sites - it is all about the credibility, social involvement and the loading speed, but not about the design that much (so, at first you will be fne with the default theme as well) :)

Prestashop sounds good, I'm going to check it out.
does it work out the box? And do you have to have paypal pro, or any special requirements?

PrestaShop is good, totally free and open-source (+1) They have a really large forum and community, works well. They'll be releasing the new v1.6 early next year, it looks nice. Search for it on Google.

How many products will your customer have? If many your client will want automated product importing features, so called datafeed importing.
Don't know if that's available in prestashop or woocommerce.
