Is this even possible anymore?

Every time I try to create a new fb account it always require a number...

You can create one with email. You'll notice it says email or phone number. Just type in your email and then confirm it and it should work.

You can just create an account using e-mail, but if you create a fake profile and facebook finds it suspicious, they ask phone number, so thats common.
