How to count clicks on a button (WORDPRESS)

Hi,

I am building a support website in wordpress and I want it to have a button with the title "support" and under it a line that will say something like - "X people already supported our cause".

I tried to find a suitable click count plugin but couldn't. Does anyone know how to do this?

FYI, most of those numbers are fake when you see those on websites, or are updated infrequently.

It depends on where you are pulling the data from. It sounds like you're just counting clicks and saying that is how many people supported you?

yeah basically if someone want to support all I need them to do is click "support" so other people can see how many people chose to support it. Simple as that, a counter for a button.
