How to copy YOUTUBE site??? HTML or what?

Hey BHW, I wan to create a Copy of YOUTUBE . Just have the same functions and interaction that Youtube has. Not wanting to hack the site only make a very much the same "looking" and operating site.

What would be the best selection for designing this type of site?

Use CTRL+A to select the whole site, paste it on Notepad++ and then upload your file to your hosting.

Just go to Codecanyon or some similar marketplace and buy yourself a media/video site script.

If u use the example above you will copy just that what you look. When you click on anything it will show you an error. You need to have a web design knowledge to do something like that.

Even if you managed somehow to copy that site. it won't ever be popular as youtube is

I hear the YouTube guys, didn't really spend millions on the site, but got a freelancer to knock it up over a weekend.
Try Fiverr but if that is too expensive then you might be able to get if done for a $1 on SeoClerks

Depends on what you mean by "copy" it.

If you want to do a video website you should search for template or CMS that can satisfy your needs, but it is impossible to find one with same functions as Youtube.

All the youube functions are born from tons of patented algorithms that they use, from the upload scripts to the editor and many other things. All those things are expensive and not so easy to reproduce.

You would need a specialized team to re-create a website like this, money to put in servers, and lot of knowledge.
