Anyone know the best way to convert English language videos (either from youtube or other sources) into rewritten text?

Retying by hand will be the best way. There are plenty of softs out there to do this but I don't know about the quality.

Depends a lot about the video, really. If they're clearly spoken English with no excess background noise, many software will do good job. Just check YT's own CC with a video like that, it's very good.

But handtyping eliminates even the possibility of mistakes (give it for typos, though).

Use any VRE software and preferably Dragon naturally speaking...

I just use my writing team
Its a bit expensive but 100% accurate and natural. So its better.

I also thought about Dragon naturally speaking, but I didn't succeeded to make it work with mp3 files. I guess it should work, so I will try again these days to reconfigure it.

Search "transcribe" on fiverr. Bunch of gigs that will do this
