Hey guys, I just recently registered a new Reddit account, but when I checked with another account, I found that my comments were hidden.
But I didn't do anything, I didn't promote, I just went to the popular section to share my true feelings. Is it because I am a new account or because the karma of the comments is not enough?
Is there any solution?

With new accounts, getting comments hidden is totally normal. Just stay logged in, interact regularly for a while and your comments will eventually show up fine.
But if your account is already like 2 or 3 months old and comments are still hidden, then it might be something with your content. Reddit’s bot might detect that you’re breaking some rule, or maybe your behavior looks off, like commenting non-stop, liking too often, stuff like that. It’s all auto-checked, not by real people, so yeah... nothing much we can do. I still get hidden comments sometimes too.
One more thing, if you’re using multiple accounts on the same device or IP, Reddit might flag you as a bot. That’s why it’s better to separate each account, use an antidetect browser like Hidemyacc or whatever, and use different IPs. Doesn’t always have to be one IP per account, but if you can do that, it’s great.
That’s all I can think of. Hope it helps.

Probably because you are new to the platform. Reddit is very strict and it can be very draining at times.

Build Karma First:
Post/comment in smaller, friendlier subs (e.g., r/AskReddit, r/CasualConversation, r/NewToReddit).
Upvote others, and they might upvote you back.

Verify Your Email:
Reddit sometimes trusts verified accounts more.

Message the Mods:
If you think your comments were wrongly removed, politely message the sub’s moderators (find the "Message the Mods" button in the sidebar).

Avoid Spam-Like Behavior:
Don’t post too quickly (rate limits apply to new accounts).
Avoid copy-pasting the same comment in multiple threads.

Check Your Profile:
Log out and see if your profile/comments are visible. If not, you might be shadowbanned.

It’s likely an auto-mod thing, Reddit hates brand new accounts posting fast.

That’s pretty common with brand new Reddit accounts. Even if you’re not promoting anything, Reddit’s spam filters are super sensitive: low karma, new account, or even just posting too quickly can get your comments auto-hidden or sent to mod queues. Best thing you can do is stick to commenting in smaller subs, avoid links for now, and slowly build up karma. It usually gets better after a bit of normal activity.

Hey! I'm not a Reddit expert, but I've been setting up a few accounts for SEO purposes and here's what I've learned:

Your comments are hidden because you're a new user - this is completely normal. Reddit's automoderator systems automatically collapse comments from new users, users who haven't joined specific communities, and those with low karma to combat spam. It's not because you did anything wrong, it's just Reddit's way of protecting communities from potential spam accounts.

If you're managing just a few accounts, create them using your mobile phone with mobile internet. The key is starting slowly with new accounts.

First week - just warm up without posting or commenting anything. Just scroll, like, and share content to build natural activity patterns.

Second week - start commenting positively (no links) in bigger, general-purpose subreddits while continuing the regular warmup activities.

Third week - you can begin posting content but still avoid links initially.

For consistency, use the same device and browser profiles, and maintain the same IP when possible. The goal is to reach around 20 comment karma (though 500 is even better) over about a few weeks to make your account "Reddit-proof".

Be patient - Reddit heavily monitors new account behavior, so gradual, authentic engagement is your best bet to build credibility and avoid getting flagged

Yeah, that’s pretty common with new accounts. Reddit’s spam filters are pretty aggressive, especially if your account has low karma and not much activity yet. Even totally normal comments can get auto-filtered without notice. Best thing you can do is slowly build up karma by commenting in smaller subreddits and avoiding links or overly short replies for now. After a bit of engagement, your comments should start showing normally.

wow! Thanks for this insight, you really solved the kind of problem I'm facing with my reddit

Check your notifications in this account, sometimes in some subreddits your comments will get auto-removed due to missing requirements like karma or not following subreddits rules about posting, and usually there will be notifications letting you know.

Also, as others mentioned, it might be due to your account being new. Just keep posting and check notifications for any removals to know how to proceed in the future.

Your account most likely got shadowbanned, when you’re registering a new account warm it up first by browsing posts before posting any content - try doing this for a number of days before ramping up.

If you’re multi-accounting make sure to properly manage your accounts fingerprint and proxies.

Yes, Reddit often auto-filters or “shadowbans” comments from new accounts to prevent spam. Low karma, no post history, and rapid posting can trigger this. Solution: Build trust—interact naturally, earn some karma, and avoid linking or promoting early on. Patience and genuine engagement help unlock visibility.

Thanks for everybody's answers, I have seen them al. They are really helpful to me.

great

Check if the comment is hidden from the best/top section or completely hidden from others. If it's completely hidden from others, verify whether the account is suspended, as each case requires a different solution.

Maybe your account is still brand new and some subreddits don't allow new users to comment.
Try to start with small and more friendly subreddits.
