How to clean bulk email list, any software?

I recently purchased a bulk email list. I think its a scraped list not opt-in one. The list seems to be old and may contain many bad emails and spam traps.

How can I clean those emails to remove spam traps and bad emails?

I come across Sendblaster but I don think it will clean the list for spam traps and also it does not have proxy support.

Any software available with proxy support which can be used for cleaning the list as well as for mass mailing?

Still looking for suggestion. Have big list, need good software to clean it.

Its a search and replace tool. How it will be helpful for removing bad emails and spam traps?
