How to claim unclaimed gmb’s?

Has anyone got experience finding, claiming and changing the phone number on GMB listings?
I can find a load of unclaimed listings in various niches but can’t figure out how to claim them to change the phone number. Is this even possible?
Any help with this would be great please.

I think you can't do that since you have to verify the ownership of that business.
