how to choose keywords

    I have a B2C shopping website , and i just want to know how choose keywords that can have high Ecommerce Conversion Rate and Click rate:D

    Main thing to do: do full analytics of existing natural traffic (if you have some) and do everything possible to improve it.

    for example, you are selling chairs.
    Most buyers come from Google by the keyword "bing zang chair" (just a sample)
    1) optimise better all the "bing zang chair" product pages (check for possible problems in google webmaster) including images and image titles;
    2) do some articles and press releases about "bing zang chairs"
    3) get reviews on "bing zang chairs"
    4) build backlinks mentioning "bing zang chairs"
    5) give 1 "bing zang chair" to Home Improvement magazine or even TV programme (they always return quality and traffic rich backlinks)

    So - work with keywords that work Today and other related traffic will build up itself and don't chase ghosts.

    If you're serious about building a profitable long term ecommerce site with substantial organic traffic you need to know all of the keyphrase variations that work for you and those that don't.

    No one is going to give you the winning keyphrases. They cost a ton of money to identify and no one wants additional competition. Why would they?

    BIG HINT... if you're serious, run a test campaign on google adwords. You'll find out what converts quickly, if your site is up to speed. It may also show some flaws you need to address. Watch the adwords keyword suggestions tools carefully...... "usually" the higher the cpc bid the more that keyphrase converts. What you're looking for are keyphrases that are the closest to the end of the purchase cycle....

    purchase blue widgets
    buy red widgets
    what movie playing today
    green widget reviews

    There's a pattern there. Add to it and make bank.

    I think you may want to dig deeper in what many internet marketers call "buying keywords". There's much written about them, though too sketchy in most sources I've found.

    I suggest you to do this search at G00gle: "buying keywords" site:www(dot)blackhatworld(dot)com

    (if feel hungry for more, just need to change site for any other good forum on internet marketing you know)

    You can try to peep keywords with high attendance , used by your competitors and also move on them.

    Take some good service for research competitors such as spyfu or semrush.

    After visiting competitor's sites,you can can pick up keywords with a high number of requests

    Find out the profitable keywords on Adwords tool. Information keywords are not converted well. So if your niche is about online business, you should search for related keyword such this term "online business products", etc...
