This free Cryptocurrency course consists of 3 hours of video content that will help you understand the concepts thoroughly , including where to buy ,etc. All the precauations you will need to take in the crypto world are also explained in that 3 hour FREE video. Prevention is better than cure - it is just 3 hours and it could educate you a lot and save you also perhaps a lot. Since you are a newbie to crypto , starting your journey , do not be in a hurry , know the basics first , gather information first-hand and the resource mentioned above is very good.
Please note that Telegram is misused a lot for crypto scams.

If you are new to crypto, I would stay away from Binance even though it has a larger selection of coins. Coinbase is good for new users and has an advanced (level 2) interface. If you can work with a more advanced trading platform, binance is great.

What about fees? Isn’t something i need to pay attention to?

Binance has top coins. Smallest exchanges list new coins. So what do you want to on exchange? If you want to trade check fees, coins and minimum amount per order.

Kucoin - no KYC, free bots
Pionex - 16 free bots, low fees, good if you want to test different trading strategies.
If you are after specific coin check coinmarketcap what exchanges it is trading on.

What is your main intention joining exchange?

Thank you so much!

It depends what you are after.

If you want to go for main coins, any of the big exchanges should work for most people. Binance, kraken, kucoin for smaller/new coins.

If you don't want to do KYC get on DEXes.

If you want to trade actively you will most likely go for a centralized exchange like binance.
