Hi guys, I need help. I'm going to test a phone farm software, and I need to choose a mobile proxy. How do I do that? I mean, how can I see if the service is of good quality, that the IPs aren't compromised or have red flags? Is there anyone who can help me figure out how to identify a reliable proxy? Do a bunch of tests.
Visit websites and register accounts with them.
If you don't get bot checked all the time - it's a good sign.
If you constantly get captchas - big red flag. Bad quality traffic.
Check out DataImpulse - I found their MobileProxies pretty affordable and good quality. And they have PayPerGB option which never expires, apart from 99% of the proxy providers out there.

There’s numerous tools out there that’ll be able to check IPs history, they’re not 100% accurate but I occasionally use them just for first verification. Generally you want to kick off by simply testing and scale from there. I use ISPs for data scraping, resi & mobile for anything that needs to last.

Is it for scraping, mass activity, will automation be involved/how intensive is it gonna be, is account longevity something important to you, stuff like that.
Speed is a good thing to have but if you get like non residential IPs with overused IP ranges then what you can do with them really starts to narrow. Also anytime you can, see if you're able to get trials just to get a good feel for the proxy you're using and if you're on the fence about which to get. Most providers should offer that sort of thing.

ill look at how the provider handles rotation and session stickiness, not just whether the ip works or not. a. clean ip can become useless if its rotated too aggressively or drops sessions mid-task. i think the better results comes from carrier with broad cgnat pools and consistent routing, not just fast speeds.

The best way to judge a proxy is real use, not specs. Test it in your actual workflow (logins, signups, browsing) and watch for captchas, random blocks, or session drops—those are usually signs of weak IP reputation or unstable routing.
Consistency matters more than anything: stable sessions, matching geo/timezone, and no weird IP shifts mid-task.
