I suggest you read Confessions of Lazy Affiliate Marketer by Rempel (can be found in this forum), for good niches, and more importantly, the keywords that would work (desperate, or buying keywords).

Asking for niches is not going to help you. If I said "steroid enhanced bananas" is a great niche, you could guarantee that tomorrow it wouldn't be because 1000 people will see the thread and 5% (50) will take action, before you know it it's saturated. And that great niche becaomes a shit niche, you come back bitching that you spent 100 bucks on PPC and got no returns.

Do like the others say and research your own.

I personally agree with davejug1 on this matter .

Yet I will give you a clue to help get you started.

Honestly speaking niche research is boring. I tend to have the best luck talking about and promoting stuff in which I like. For example if you like gaming promote items that you yourself use or would use and buy.

If you are a blogger well try to promote blogging related items and books.

For everything that interest you there is an affiliate program. Which is the beauty of the internet.

So honestly no one can tell you what you like so no one can tell you what to promote.

Now what separates the niches is the keywords. You can take a high converting offer and with keywords that are not buying or action type keywords chances are you will not get any sells.

Example:

You are trying to sell an ebook on marketing your keywords is

FREE Ebook on marketing

Chances are you will not get any buyers. Since in reality you are actually wanting people who are searching with there wallet out people seeking free stuff usually have tehre wallet in a vault.

So basically what I am saying in a nutshell any niche is good the only thing that brings in the bacon is GREAT keywords.

Can answer this questions:

How you will outrank Google base?
How you will outrank Product comparison websites? ebay? shopping?

I'm stuck with that...

Lets say I was in "Philips sonicare advance 4100" microniche - was in 4th place with hubpages but not for long.. Competition is amazon, google base... - I don't know how what authority I need to outrank them...

So how you do with that?
BTW nice trancy background.

Heres how i find amazon micro niches, it can be applied to any niche research:

Watch the news, listen to talk radio, check out magazine titles, amazon top selling electronic products, top one hundred best selling books, and look for Popular hobbies. There are tons of ways to find a good niche just open your mind up.

Go to Magazine websites. If there is a popular Magazine it is a niche with buyers.

Do not try to find a secret niche. It doesn't exist. Stick with niches in proven market full of buyers.

Choose something you are interested in.

Check Google Trends.

Try different things with the google keywords tool.

Thanks :)

Google gives amazon more authority, and of course itself. Which means you do have to work harder to get ranked well. The thing is, you arent competing with amazons main page. You are competing with just one page of amazon.com, so that makes it a lil easier.

You have to keep in mind that other affiliates will be linking to that page as well. You need a lot of highly relevant backlinks (which is why for amazon products i focus on one keyword).

Always when trying to dominate a specific keyword, always buy a domain with that is just the main keyword (unless the main keyword has a trademarked name). If the main keyword is a trademarked name, simply use the rest of the keyword as your domain if it is long tail enough. .com's are the best, then its .orgs and .nets.

I wonder if canon.eosbodyonly.com would be allowed. Are you allowed trademarked names in subdomains?

Thank you guys so much! I've another question.I'm going to be with clickbank, but I can only get a link. How can I promote them if I'm not doing PPC?Must I build my own landing page and do some SEO work?

Pretty much yeah, unless you want to use social networking sites to find groups of people who would be interested in your clickbank product. You can cloak your affiliate link using tr.im or offto.net. Or you can get a free .tk domain at dot.tk. Also you could buy a domain and forward/mask it to your clickbank offer.

As far as a sales page goes you could just use wordpress, or blogger. Any web 2.0 property, if you dont want to pay for hosting and set up a salespage.

tk FREE domain, sweeeeeet, did not know that. thanks (and hit the thank you buttom).

A bit hard to build the landing page and so hard to SEO for only one page.

did I get it right? So let's say I find a nice product on clickbank. All these products are nice but not really top notch so that everyone would sell his child for (little exaggerate) ;)

So the thing in finding a niche is you promote your "standard" product in a way users type it into search machines. You promote a product in specific search strings that are well searched but the market is not too saturated. Did I get it right?

Yes. Low competition and high search rate is what you want, although it is a challenge to get. Look at your first page competitors and see if you can compete with them, if you are unsure, then test and see if you can beat them :) having web 2.0 sites like digg, squidoo, youtube etc link to your sales page always helps.

Here's an easy tip. Look at the first page of SERP (google). If you see ezine articles there, then you can compete :) [unless they did some serious backlink building to those articles, which is rare]
