So i posted on a couple blogs yesterday and had a url with an anchor text linking to my site. The blogs have 100% success because i got them from here and people reported that it worked. However, I googled how to check your backlinks and some sites showed up, i put in my site url and no backlinks were found.

What is a good place to find out how many backlinks your site has?
    Thanks

You can use Scrapebox link checker. Throw all of the URL's in, and it will check with url's your links actually posted on.

If you have ScrapeBox, use the backlinks checker add-on.

Otherwise, you can use Easy Baclinks Extractor (proxies necessary) from CodeCanyon :

Back link watch dot com is the best tool ever. Its free. but the main problem is that they save your results for a couple of months.
    thanks
