What is the best tool\way to check domains traffic and how can I check if it's only bot activity?

Check with this - https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-check-website-traffic-for-any-site-best-tools/ - It shows you best tools to check how much traffic a website gets with more detailed .

An integrated web analytics tool, such as Google Analytics or Heap, can also help to detect bot traffic.
See - https://www.cloudflare.com/en-in/learning/bots/what-is-bot-traffic/ - It shows you What is bot traffic and How to stop bot traffic with detailed and it shows you How can bot traffic be identified with more detailed steps .

If you want to check to see if your website is being affected by bot traffic, then the best place to start is Google Analytics. In Google Analytics, you'll be able to see all the essential site metrics, such as average time on page, bounce rate, the number of page views and other analytics data.

not for my website, for random domains

not for my website, for random domains
You can get an estimate using similarweb and other seo tools.
The estimate is mostly based on the SERP and ranking data for that domain.

Ubersuggest, Ahrefs - I used them myself, not bad tools for that. Already mentioned Similarweb. But I want to add, it used to be that if you're not registered, you can't see the traffic if it's below 12k per month. If you register, you can see statistics of sites with traffic only from 5k. That is, it is not the most powerful tool.

In the paid tariffs of these services should be tools that track data and analyze in real time the behavior of visitors: you can check the browser and other statistics to identify bot. But specifically for bots, you can use finteza (dot) con
It specializes only in traffic analysis and easily recognizes bots.
