How to check competitors backlinks

I se a lot of websites of my competitor which show 0 backlinks in yahoo, every backlinks check software etc - i can't find any links for it but they rank top places. Sure, keywords are pretty easy but still - its impossible to rank 1-3 place without any link.

So i wonder if there is any way to findout how this guy is positioning his site ? maybe its all about xrumer&scrapebox links but how to check this ?

i think where are two options because the keywords are pretty easy ...

1. the site is new and the links still not shown i n yahoo explorer
2. he is using 301 redirecting to his website

SEO Spyglass is pretty good too, they have a free version you can download.

no, sites are two years old and he is on top spots all the time even after panda update - it's very very strange..

so linkpushing is like:

blast scrapebox links to > xrumer profiles which are linked to > money site

when making first step i mean getting backlinks to backlinks (scrapebox -> xrumer profiles) then should i use my moneysite keywords at every step ?

so if keyword is bigbang then

scrapebox blast with keyword bigbang which will be linked to xrumer profiles where i have links with keyword bigbang pointed to my money site ?

Link pushing is just a link building pyramid. Nothing special, they're still links that would show up. I would use Market Samurai and use Majestic SEO...they always show a lot more links than Y.
