How To Check Backlinks

I'm a total noob, and I ordered a service from the forum for some backlinks on a MNS. It's been around 2 weeks since the service has been completed and I haven't even jumped into the top 100. Keep in mind that this site is optimized for the keywords, so with only a 1200 exact local searches I should be seeing some serp movement.

Do you guys know of any ways to check how many backlinks my website has? I ordered the backlinks without a report as it was cheaper that way.

just paste your link in technorati.com it will show the number of backlinks pointing to your site with thumbnail icons.

I can't believe that Yahoo ended their backlink checking feature. That was one of the best features of Scrape Box that allowed you to take competitor's backlinks, analyze them and take them as your own. The prices of these paid services are almost criminal.
