Hi everyone! Im not sure if im posting in the right area but here's a situation: I made the mistake of putting up my real name and address on my whois info. If im not buying certificates (which costs additional in godaddy), my name and address is available to everyone. Dont have great websites on it but i figured its great to ready... Any thoughts on how to change this? Do I really need to change it? Looking forward for your feedbacks. All the best, -Jarby
You have to give your real name and address, else you risk losing the domain if someone files a complaint that it's false information. You can pay extra for private/proxy registration at most registrars though. As for changing the registration info, you do that from the control panel wherever you registered your domain.
