without harming SEO, how to do this?

use 301 redirect in .htaccess

you will still lose some ranking initially but if your URL change was well thought you will catch up later.

I made a major URL change to my money site last year. I got all redirections correctly in place. Ranking and traffic still dropped at the start. It needed 2-3 months to recover but eventually the change paid off and I gained traffic (+ URLs look nicer than before which is good for CTR)
