I think you should put on airplane mode and don't turn it off, combined with using VPN will be better

Not sure if the OP was talking about a mobile proxy, but for those there's usually an IP rotation feature. Just use that, wait a few seconds, and bam. New IP. If it's a mobile connection, I heard airplane mode does it but your mileage will vary on that one.
