Any slick ideas on how to make some money by investing because of the corona situation?

Im not talking business. Selling masks or any other labor-intensive work. Im talking put in $1.000 get $5.000 for it in a few months type thing, roughly speaking.

Im aware there are no guarantees, but im also aware these types of situations like corona bring opportunitites and those that play their cards right could turn a profit when its all said and done.

Lets assume i dont think this will bring a massive shift of power on the global stage and i dont think it will bring a huge economic crisis or major economic changes. I think things will get back to how they were in a couple of months, with the global economy set back a little.

You mean investing like in the stock market?
Or investing in digital marketing like a website or something?

I guess investing in something thats down in value now because of the situation but has good chances of bouncing back when its over.

Gold, silver, a company, whatever.

Im not taking cryptos into account because theyre unpredictable anyway.

Finding N95 respirators and putting them up on line. Cha-ching.

Where are you from?
I am doubling down on investing (my dad is an independent investment advisor for major budget clients) but in belgian and European countries mostly.
The most important thing is diversifying your portfolio fo different sectors.
I would love to invest for dividends but they are so heavily taxed and we don't have a commission-free broker here yet.

Almost every company right now is pretty cheap so just buy small amounts of the companies that you believe will survive this crisis and get stronger.
USA still has to go through the blood bath so markets will probably dip a lot more until we reach the bottom.

I would not recommend buying other peoples suggestions because you should only invest in what you understand IMO

Stocks are riskier than bonds. It depends on how much risk you like and what your investing time horizon is. Mine is around 30 to 40 years so I only do stocks.

Invest a fixed amount every month. Time in the market is better than trying to time the market.
