Instagram is punishing the accounts which publish existing content. This will penalize content farms on Instagram.

So my question is :"How would you edit a photo (already published on Insta) to make it unique to the eyes of Instagram?"

I thought to add a filter on photoshop, but I dont think it will be enough. Any idea?

You can add text on it, or you can simply add an emoji or anything by a third-party app. You could technically still get-away with using the original image if you created white borders around it This method works for me so give it a try.

so if I have two accounts and one is posting a litlle of the content from my main account, it'll get punished?

Yes, try this. This might help you.

Usually, Instagram does not punish reposting content from other accounts. but you may try the above mentioned suggestion.

You can use a bot or change some stuff manually, such as adding visual layers/elements to it (text, borders, etc...)
