It seems none of the websites I create are good enough for FB to approve of me using their pixel for ads and are all stuck on the review process for weeks now. Is their any certain criteria I could follow to get them to get them to let me use a pixel, or should I just run ads without it?

Thanks for any help!

The failure to pass the review is a problem for everyone, not just pixels, you might consider changing the title or image video to make it easier to pass the review

In order for Facebook to approve the use of your pixel for advertising, there are certain criteria and guidelines that you should follow such as Landing Page Quality, Advertising Policies, Compliance with Facebook policies to ensure that your ad content and format do not violate any regulations, No prohibited content, Clear Privacy Policy

To use Facebook's pixel, you must ensure your landing page does not violate Facebook's policies, in addition, the articles (videos, images) used to run ads do not violate Facebook's policies.

I made sure to do that, I think it is the fact that it's a obvious dropshipping site with little content that is making them not approve it and unfortunately I am not willing to invest in a high quality site to bypass this since they might ban it anyway.

I have never heard of datasets/pixels being reviewed by Meta. You don’t need a pixel to run ads.

You need a certain number of conversions for Facebook to evaluate your pixel. Spend more to track pixel metrics

Don't use the pixel
Once you've been running ads for a few weeks, try adding the pixel
FB right now is an absolute mess as its banning accounts by the thousands, so probably many parts of the site are broken
Things won't get better until at least December

I usually pay more attention to pixel settings instead of that.

You need to run it for a while for the pixel to get used to your website. Pay attention to it regularly and it will help you measure better.
