How to buy a .edu domain

interesting because those domains are not easy to get and if it have expired edu domains that is nice! and the question is from where those edu domains are, USA or another country.
There is no way to get expired .edu domains names. I'd they expire they just return to the registry (or rather get deleted). Actually, a lot of people who had grandfathered domains lost them over the years by letting them expire. If that happens, the domain registrant would have to go through the normal process of acquiring then (which is is a long and difficult road, because it requires being a US school and getting US accreditation).

I am not permitted to sell the domain. But, but I could sell the legal entity that owns it, in which case the buyer would get all assets of the entity, which include the domain. The problem with most grandfathered .edu domains is that if they were registered to an individual, then they can never be transferred. In my case, it was registered to an entity and this can exchange hands.
How much would you consider for selling the entity? Thanks
