I have a bunch of videos I'd like to add a 6 second intro to, and add a watermark in the bottom right hand corner. I'm currently doing this manually with Camtasia, but I have a few dozen more videos to go and figured it was worth it to see if there was a software option.

I'm open to free or paid options. These are MP4 files I believe. Does anyone have any recommendations?

    Thanks. ~englandrm

A simple ffmpeg with proper parameters will just work fine

    ffmpeg or mencoder

here are some code examples to get you started:

    watermarking

    Top left corner
    Code:
    ffmpeg -i inputvideo.avi -vf "movie=watermarklogo.png [watermark]; [in][watermark] overlay=10:10 [out]" outputvideo.flv

    Top right corner
    Code:
    ffmpeg ?i inputvideo.avi -vf "movie=watermarklogo.png [watermark]; [in][watermark] overlay=main_w-overlay_w-10:10 [out]" outputvideo.flv

    Bottom left corner
    Code:
    ffmpeg ?i inputvideo.avi -vf "movie=watermarklogo.png [watermark]; [in][watermark] overlay=10:main_h-overlay_h-10 [out]" outputvideo.flv

    Bottom right corner
    Code:
    ffmpeg ?i inputvideo.avi -vf "movie=watermarklogo.png [watermark]; [in][watermark] overlay=main_w-overlay_w-10:main_h-overlay_h-10 [out]" outputvideo.flv

    Batch add intro
    Code:
    for %a in ("*.mp4") do Mencoder -ovc copy -oac copy c:\intro.mp4 "%a" -o "c:\temp\%%a"

I use Adobe After Effects for this. It's super simple to bulk add the watermark into multiple comps and then bath render them out.
