How to building inner links 2018?

Hello,
I want to ask you about building inner links. What structure is better, when a inner links are orderly same like category (black line on screen) or better is when inner backlinks are connected with main page, category and other inner pages (red color on screen)???

If those main categories were completely off, I would silo the site (black lines). However, considering that clothing and bags are pretty much the same niche, you will be perfectly fine with the red lines. Just make sure the site structure is easy to navigate for visitors. No need to strictly silo anything here.
