ok so here i go and i am going to spill the beans on how i automate EVERYTHING online without knowing anything about bloody programming or having a PhD.

I have learned many things from this forum - some good, some bad.

So now it's my turn to offer a little back.

If i see this on DP i will have it taken down.

Mods, plz don't put this in vip, this is for everybody.

    So here we go...

    1. Get utorrent or another decent torrent client and download autoplay media studio and winautomation from isohunt or wherever.

    2. Install them both and run autoplay media studio (AMS from now).

    3. Use the new project wizard and then use then 'browser' template.

    4. Click on the 'web object' and then set the url to facebook.com or wherever you want to automate.

    5. Now, click ok and at the top of the screen click publish, then preview.

    6. The project will run and you will see the url in the screen.

    7. Now run winautomation.

    8. You will see an orange scroll with a blue plus sign on it, click this. This creates a new project. Now, here's the magic.

You can create any exe that will run ON the project you just made in AMS.

So any page you load in your AMS poject can be automated using winautomation. That means that you can use the finished AMS exe (with winautomation exes compiled in it) on any pc. So you can sell it.

So lets automate a page, say facebook.com. So set the webobject in AMS to facebook.com, then preview it.

Now load up a new project in winautomation.

In the AMS facebook window login to your facebook account.

So we will go to your profile in this excercise (more to come).

Using winautomation, click on the 'Windows' menu, then 'Focus Window'.

Drag the focus window to the blank project window in winautomation and click on it.

A new window pops up showing you 'by title or class' this should be checked and then click the drop down box above the text wildcards allowed. You will not have named your project in AMS so then click on 'My Project' in the drop down menu, then click OK.

This function selects the AMS project so that any winautomation commands will be run on it.

Now select 'Mouse and Keyboard' menu in winatuomation, then drag a move mouse command to the window.

With the My Project window open in the screen, on the move mouse properties select 'active window' and then click on the my project window. This ensures that all mouse movements only happen on the My Project window. Move the mouse pointer to your profile name in facebook then click ctrl.

The mouse position will be logged and the x and y values will be set in winautomation.

Then click ok in winautomation. Now in winautomation click on the play button at the top. Your mouse should move to the AMS My Project and then to your profile name. Again, this is a very basic intro, i will be posting further threads as time allows. Any questions, do not hesitate to PM me.

This is designed for folks who don't have the time eg full time jobs to learn vb.net. Ubot is good but pricey, this is free.

Got to have a little imagination. Of course super complicated things involving many programs are not gonna work, but think how many repetitive or simple things you do that can be automated but there is no specific 'bot' for that, or at least no one is selling one.

how about searching google hot trends (or any site that does) for the top 10 threads, and the grab those keywords and search for articles on ezine or other.

Just that alone will save you a bunch of time if you think about it.

Thing is though - you can create quite complex bots with this method. Random comments, accounts, random times, character recognition, it's all possible. And by clicking buttons in your AMS program using the winautomation exes you can link events using conditionals (if, else etc). And by writing to txt files you can save all your data (logins etc) So believe me, many things that can be done with more complex software can be done this way. Or if you've got 6 months to become familiar with vb be my guest...

    Great write up.

If you have a little more time people you should dive into vb. Just get started and Google when you're lost, you'll have it down in a lot less time than you might think.

C# / PHP FTW. This does spike my interest though.
