Hi, I just got my email server setup and I have to build sender reputation for my messages to reach inbox eventually. However, my plan is to use email address scraper to collect emails from FB mostly....
How can I do that and build sending reputation at the same time. Does anyone have any experience how to approach this ?

An email server sender's reputation refers to the credibility and trustworthiness associated with the server's IP address or domain when sending emails. It plays a crucial role in email deliverability, as it directly impacts whether your emails reach the intended recipients' inboxes or end up in spam folders. Let's explore the concept of sender reputation and its interaction with email servers in more detail

To build your email sender reputation, follow these guidelines:

  1. Use a reputable email service provider (ESP) with good deliverability rates.
  2. Obtain permission from recipients before sending emails (use opt-in methods).
  3. Maintain a clean and updated email list by regularly removing bounced or inactive email addresses.
  4. Segment your email list and send targeted, relevant content to improve engagement.
  5. Personalize your emails with recipient names and relevant information.
  6. Use a consistent "From" name and email address to establish recognition.
  7. Implement proper authentication protocols such as SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to verify your emails.
  8. Monitor and address spam complaints promptly, allowing recipients to easily unsubscribe.
  9. Avoid using spam-triggering words, excessive capitalization, and misleading subject lines.
  10. Monitor your email metrics (open rates, click-through rates) and make adjustments based on recipient feedback and engagement.
By following these best practices, you can improve your sender reputation and enhance email deliverability.

I understand that you're looking to build a sender reputation for your email server while using an email address scraper to collect emails, primarily from Facebook. However, it's important to note that using email address scrapers may not be the most effective or recommended approach for building a reputable email marketing strategy. Scraping emails without proper consent can lead to legal issues and damage your sender reputation.

To build a solid sender reputation and maintain compliance with email marketing best practices, I suggest following these guidelines:

1. Permission-based Email Collection

2. Opt-in Confirmation
3. Email Authentication

4. Quality Content

5. Engage and Maintain List Hygiene

6. Monitor Feedback Loops

By adhering to these best practices, you can gradually build a positive sender reputation, improve your email deliverability, and maintain a healthy relationship with your subscribers.

Really helpful!

Regularly test and measure your email campaigns to see what works and what doesn't. This will help you fine-tune your approach and improve your sender reputation over time.
