Well, I've been working on this project for quite sometime. We're currently at 40 lengthy, high-quality articles. I'm investing good money and effort in the content creation process, and focusing mainly on social media outreach.

However, I'd like to grow my ranks just a tad. I'm already getting (low) organic traffic.
My question is:

- What is your recommended strategy for building a basic backlink profile that looks natural and White-Hat-like?

I don't care if it doesn't help that much. I have only one Nofollow backlink, and I think it's wise to add more... as it is justifiable by my organic & legit social media signals. Can't afford blogposts at the moment. Please, suggest something manually done and unpaid. Not willing to create PBN's, even through Web 2.0, and tiering spammy links.

I might be able to work on a small Web 2.0's arsenal that is totally legit, if it's going to add a little bit of juice.

Your help and inputs are always appreciated!

There’s a lot of people going after white hat link profiles for better valuation nowadays. Definitely worth it.

I'm no expert, I'm still learning about SEO on a day to day basis. Have you looked into doing guest posts?

Also, I think this thread would do better in the SEO / Link building section.
