Hi people, I'm new to the game and about to give it a go. I'm going to do an 18+ video streaming site and would like to build an email list (not via memberships) I understand the popup thing but I'd also like to build a list. Can anyone recommend how to do that? Also, I just have to register with aweber and all the emails are saved there right? Anyone got any tips on how to manage the email list? What if aweber cancels my account for some reason?
Hey @mjay I don't think it be good to build an email list within the adult niche. Maybe if it's some sort of a news related adult website. Don't expect building an email list will work as on mainstream sites. It's adult. It's quite taboo. Aweber doesn't allow adult stuff, as far as I know. thanks for the link. That's what i mean tho. I do want to build a list from it as much as i can. What are the only ways? Have a pop up and give something away for free? Who would give away there real email address on a porn site? probably no one right?
I would suggest to take a look at other websites in your niche and see what they are doing. See if they are "gathering" emails. Let's say: 50 websites from your niche. But I highly doubt it will work. (list building). Only if you own a paysite.
