how to build backlinks for Spanish websites?

Hello, I am new to SEO and have recently started a business in Latin America. I have created a website and now need to get it to start ranking for keywords in Spanish.

my question is this: do all the backlinks have to be placed on Spanish content websites? or is it ok to just have the anchor text keywords be in Spanish but on an English website.

any advice would be appreciate, thanks in advance.

Can you read and write Spanish language? if you can it, you can look for Spanish websites for contacting webmasters and acquiring backlinks toward your site.
 
Research for your Spanish keywords and once you have done that target people in your niche that have blogs. Also look for forums that are related, if not start one ;]
 
It is better to place your link with anchor text on Spanish content websites as it is logically not the right way to give your Spanish anchor text on English website.

it is same as what you did for your english site. The only different is that you are focusing on getting backlink from the spanish language site to get better ranking on spanish search
 
Buy/generate many articles in Spanish and build links to only .es domains with gsa ser?
 
You should hire a native speaking person who actually understands Spanish and can easily write your articles, blog posts and blog comments. The last thing you want to do is to try to go this one alone with an online translator.
 
Try with Peru people, they are the cheapest writers from Latam
 
Whatever keywords your money site is targeting, you want to try and have them in the sites that point to it. So if you are targeting a spanish phrase, then spanish sites that use that phrase will be much more powerful. PM if you want help building private links
 
You can create backlinks on Spanish sites. It would be helpful for you to get traffic form targeted sites. You can hire a Spanish freelancer to help you.
 
Links should be build on spanish websites in spanish language.
 
If you are looking to rank for keywords in Spanish, you should write content in the local language of your target audience and get links from Spanish websites.

Spanish anchor text inserted into English text will just look spammy and links from non-Spanish sites have less value anyway.

Google recognizes synonyms and other languages (for example, Google will understand that "perder peso" equals "weight loss" and links from English sites with the English anchor text "weight loss" will help you as well), but you should focus on getting links from Spanish language websites, it's most relevant in the eyes of Google.
 
If you search it on google you can see that we have very less spanish websites. You can link them in the English websites also. Make a thorough research on finding keywords.
 
If you want to rank for Google.es in spanish you can buy articles in spanish and build links to your .es domain
