Hello my fellow members. This forum really helped me allot whilst learning my SEO and I have to admit that people here are really nice :D (which I have to use now :D).

Ok, here is the thing, I will be straight honest, I've been working with my client on some SEO projects for a 'normal' websites(and he was satisfied 3:) ). But now he asked me how to rank a website that is an image gallery. The only text it has is about the website. It has few category for those pictures too(I mean web pages). I've done some on-page SEO like adding alt tag etc. I've found some really great keywords, but my question is now, could you kindly tell me how can I increase the SERPs for those keywords? I know I can backlink to other image galleries, or do some blog comments, but I don't think that will do the trick(or?). And how can I build web 2.0s with just pictures? Just create another image galleries or something else on them(web 2.0)? I've searched a little through but haven't found something that will answer my question, the only thing I know is that if those images are positioned first in Google could bring some bad traffic to the site.

    Thank You very much :D

I'm deeply sorry if I posted this thread in the wrong section. I'm new here :D

First of all share the images on social media sites like facebook, pintrest etc
Use forums and place the image in a signature with gallery link and do quality posts
Web 2.0 are also a best part to built links for images
Use image sharing sites and place your image with website URL

pintrest is your best at getting traffic and yes to 2.0 blogs with just pics with links in the description of the pic be sure to add a lot of creative commons pics with links in the description titles to .edu art collections and The Smithsonian The Louvre the Hermitage Britain's largest museum the Musei Vaticani it doesn't matter that the creative commons pic is actually in that museum or university art collection just have the link to their gallery page or image sitemap page. I almost forgot create 100s of you-tube videos of his pics and run them on a slide show with music about 15 images per 3 min song. make sure you watermark the videos and you keep the ownership of the copyrights on them just in case you have to pull them from him.
