Hello!

My website stopped on 38 authority score (by semrush) and I have no idea how to push it forward.
Is there any to-do list? I got a lot of new backlinks since I advanced to 38 authority but it's not growing.

I have an address on my website, all terms, and conditions, privacy policies, etc. (unique, written by my lawyer)...

What else can boost my authority score?

Just saying, third party metrics like these are pretty useless to look at.
Well, I find it really accurate when it comes to the SERP positions. So that's why I am wondering how to increase the authority. Even if it's not something that Google checks, things that sum up for the website authority must be important.

usually backlinks is what increases the authority of a website. The more backlinks, and the more powerful they are, the more authority your site gains. But like the previous guy said, this kind of "authority" is pretty useless nowadays so I wouldn't worry about it if I were you. By promoting your site outside of google (via press releases, advertising on popular blogs and forums in your industry, podcasts, etc) you will get delicious referral traffic (which matters to google) which increases your site's popularity, which then increases its authority because many other websites will give you backlinks and mentions naturally and this - inadvertently - increases your authority score

  1. Refresh Your Point of View

  2. Craft Consistency and Set Manageable Expectations

  3. Teach through Content

  4. Diversify Engagement Opportunities

  5. Pinpoint and Review Authority Outlets

  6. Create a Community and Contribute

More backlinks.
It would be wiser to attract them naturally over time.

More quality content and quality backlinks are the key to any websites authority. Both will cost you hell lot of money. Quality backlinks these days cost you in multiples of 100 these days..

Agreed with @tazarbm

Don't rely score on any tool. Better try to understand how Google measures the authority of a website.

This article will help you to understand how Google thinks and measure https://www.webfx.com/internet-marketing/how-does-google-determine-authority.html

press releases
sites within in your industry
podcasts
These will increase your real-life serps which is more important than the DA.

Out of curiosity, does your site rank and bring profits? It doesn't, maybe you should change your focus to something worth it.

Unless of course you're building a site just so as to sell links on it.

To answer your question, everything is all about links; numbers and quality matters

agree - one caveat though: having tons of shitty links, brings your authority metrics down on those third party sites...

One thing I've personally noticed that has worked every single time with SEMRush authority score: Web 2.0 Links

You can't build too many of them. Just try to get some more unique ones and watch the authority go up!

Many services cost 20 dollars, 30 dollars will increase your DR, DA, you can get 50, 60 or higher. But it's useless. Forget these stupid numbers.

Yea that is why the last line says '...numbers and quality'.

Keep updating your article and try to improve UX on your pages and site.
Also, try some backlinks more with high quality sites with traffic to just push it up and also to get gain visitors

It does! We rank for some keywords. The website is profitable. Conversion is fine. That's why we want to move it further.

Also, the website is an e-commerce store, if it matters.

Increasing your 'authority'(i.e the score) only, would no move your site further.

Since you're getting conversions maybe you have to cover more closely related products that your customers might be interested in. That is one of the ways to move further. Just increasing your authority score won't do much and might hurt your site at the end of the day if you do so with bad links
