I want to build a private blog network (PBN) to boost my site’s rankings, but I’m scared Google will spot my footprints and penalize me. If you have easy, proven tips to keep every PBN site looking unique—like which hosts to choose, how to hide WHOIS info, using different themes, and mixing up links—please share.

If it's just for one or two sites, it would be a lot cheaper to just rent PBN links IMO.

Micro PBN's are still pretty straight forward, especially if you're only adding one or two sites.

If you're looking for something more scalable, things get complicated quickly. Might be time to outsource to someone like @splishsplash .

Mix cheap local hosts + cloud VPS from random providers, not the usual SEO hosts. Private WHOIS or fake real-looking identities. Different CMSes too, not just WordPress. Some blogs on Ghost, some on Joomla. Spin link types—brand, naked, partial anchors.

Guys i also have a question!! Got my expired domain, Cloudflare set up, and cloned the old WooCommerce site (from archive) into static HTML for my PBN.

I basically put the whole thing in "quarantine" (like the original site was, and as some of you recommended )

Problem is, the old JS-powered product tabs ("Description", "Composition", "Shipping") don’t work anymore.
Content is still in the HTML source, but not visible/clickable.

I could flatten the tab content into plain static <h2> sections, but…

Should I bother fixing the broken tabs during this quarantine period, or is it fine to leave them as-is since the content is still in the source code? Is this actually affecting SEO, link juice, or anything else important right now?

I have absolutely no affiliation (paid or otherwise) whatsoever. Was simply tagging a BHW member profile who knows about this space, not a sales thread or service. Pretty sure that falls within the rules but happy to be told otherwise.

Use different registrars and hosting providers (preferably cheap cloud VPS, private WHOIS, unique themes and CMS setups, varied outbound link patterns, and avoid linking PBN sites to each other.
