You obvously haven't read the thread...

We're talking about proper hosted domains.

I just started building my own network when I saw crazy offers from some domain and hosting sites.

1st. I went to freshdrop and picked up some old domains
2nd. I signed up a bunch of accounts and registered $1/domain at namecheap during cyber monday.
3rd. I saw a hostthename.com offer for a seohosting at 90 cents per IP (20 ips). I'll set up 5 domains per IP.
4rd. Now I'll try to raise its PR with phpbuild's tools.

That's a network of 100 domains at the price of 2 submissions to other networks.
