Hello, what are best techniques to build a facebook page for a business website with only real and niche targeted subscribers/likes? Should i buy facebook page ads?

I have never owned facebook page and don't completely understand how it works, if someone clicks 'like' on your post then this person is automatically subscribing to your page and any future posts will appear on their timeline?
