It's 2018, a lot of the stuff here is outdated.

I'm looking to build a big facebook group in a niche, what's the best way to do it in 2018 without adding people as friends and then invite them?

Then only buy advertising in the communities. Or contextual advertising

Or maybe by getting traffic from other places? But in this case I think it's not worth it, better to drive traffic directly to your own sites.

try it in other facebook group posts .. but ask beforehand the admin un permis .. buy your ad on facebook .. ask small yt channel for steam keys etc .. ware to add my idea

Go for Facebook ads. This should make it easier for you to target your preferred audience. Join Facebook groups that are under the same niche and be an active member. Establish your credibility. -Micah
