How to build a Backlink???

Hi all,

I need someone expert in backlink to give me some professional advices!!!

I have recently building up my online store.

Many people advise me to build up more backlink to achieve more traffic to my online store.

but I do not have experience in building a backlinks, please resolve my as bleow:-

1) what is backlink???
2) is it just keep writing a wordpress or blog and input the link to my online store
3) if so, do i have to sign up for thousand blog and advertisement website for building a backlink?
4) do I need any or other software in building a backlinks?

A backlink is a link on a website other than yours. These can be achieved in many many ways. Bookmark website, other blogs, comments on those blogs, etc. If you want to build quick backlinks without having to learn all the tools check out services for sale section on this forum. I also reccomend buying some gigs on a website called Fiverr. This is where people sell services for 5 dollars. Here is a good seller to get you started:http://fiverr.com/crorkservice. Good luck!

Even though it is basic, even simple questions help everyone learn!

1. As mentioned by an earlier reply, a backlink is simply a link leading to your site from some other website. This could be a link from a Facebook page, another business's website or even another website that you own under a different domain.
2. If you are maintaining a Wordpress blog under a domain different from that of your online store, yes creating links to your online store on the blog will count as a backlink. However you should strive to have more authoritative sites link to your online store. 100 backlinks from 100 different domains is more effective than 100 backlinks from the same domain (in this case your blog).
3. While not all may agree, backlink building services should be approached with caution. While these services can generate thousands of backlinks quickly, search engines have been known to penalize websites for using them.
4. Again, you may find loads of software out there to build backlinks for you however be careful. If search engines discover that you are "gaming" the system, you may be penalized by losing rankings.
