first thing , you need to do is audit your videos, why arent you getting the views, is your thumbnails, video editing and everything engaging enough for viewers to click and also watch? so compare your channel to the other competitor channels in your niche who are getting pretty much decent views or even high views and replicate their method, that includes, thumbnail design, editing style, upload pattern etc. Obviously you should also experiment with your creative ideas as well.
Also you can boost your videos and channels by getting good reliable services/traffic from smm panels, get good youtube views and mix it with likes, comments and shares.

After couple weeks, and max 3 weeks imo, if you not getting picked up by the algorithm then maybe you should move on to another channel.

Consistency. Just be consistent.
I wouldn't start thinking this way, there's no niche that somehow always outperforms others. It's literally just getting the best videos possible out of that particular niche. If you really want to, you can make multiple channels with different niches and try and experiment with that. All I will say is that there are obviously niches (more specifically video types) that will just not do any kind of real benefit, but the most common niches are effective and it is just a matter of your input, quality input.
