How to BOOST up Alexa rank?

I need my main site to have a high Alexa rank to attract monthly sponsors/advertisers. Help?

why for alexa. spare that time to boost google ranking. i swear, it will be worth.

No you don't - I have been trying a few things and within a month have got a site to about 810k without much effort and PR2. Now its a bit more tricky but at least I am less than a million and having to do a bit of work.

Tested it a few times and what I do seems to work - its not rocket science and if its just a boost you need and you don't mind non targeted visits then its ideal.

Its also ideal if you want big stats for selling a site

Might write up the method one day, but I want to test it a couple more times first.

I would be interested in your methods, the only way I have ever been able to lower alexa is with more traffic.

The method involves traffic, its just the way you get it to your site
Like I said, it was a bit too easy when I tried it thats why I want to start the method again to make sure it works.

There is a few hours of work to begin with and then thats it for a while (if you have a few handy scripts anyway!)

Its all about traffic...

Try and focus on Internet Marketing traffic. Why?

Alexa gathers most of its data from its toolbar installs, and most internet marketers
use toolbars with Alexa built in. Therefore, try and find ways to get a lot of internet
marketers traffic towards your site, even if its not an internet marketing website.

Here's an example, I have one site thats NOT in the internet marketing niche that
gets roughly 5k uniques a day. It's Alexa ranking is roughly 800k.

I have a few internet marketing sites that receive only ~80 or so uniques a day.
The Alexa ranking is right around 100k. Remember, lower is better.

I see this consistently across the board.
