    I'm starting my first CPA/PPD site. Custom script and design. I have a referral script in place and I'm sure many of my visitors are just from proxies (which removes the viral intent). I noticed in Google analytics show Proxy.org is a large referrer (not sure how since proxy.org directs you to other proxies.. but w/e). Point being, is there a half decent way to block proxy access to my site?

    I was only able to find this htaccess script which upon testing doesn't work well (or at all, hard to tell)

    Code:
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteEngine on[/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:VIA} !^$ [OR][/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:FORWARDED} !^$ [OR][/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:USERAGENT_VIA} !^$ [OR][/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:X_FORWARDED_FOR} !^$ [OR][/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:PROXY_CONNECTION} !^$ [OR][/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:XPROXY_CONNECTION} !^$ [OR][/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:HTTP_PC_REMOTE_ADDR} !^$ [OR][/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteCond %{HTTP:HTTP_CLIENT_IP} !^$[/FONT][/COLOR]
    [COLOR=#CCCCCC][FONT=Monaco]RewriteRule ^(.*)$ ? [F][/FONT][/COLOR]

    For $200 I think I am looking for something else lol.. I can't imagine who could possibly need to block proxies so bad that it's worth $200.

    There are a number of proxy blocking services that scan the web for open proxies and blacklisted databases for proxy users. You can also encrypt key sections of your site such as registration forms using JavaScript as many free proxy vendors do not allow JavaScript rendering and so it will make it harder for them to use cheap proxies.

    You can also use MaxMind's service MinFraud for phone verification prior to paying out your users.

    Does that work? Is every proxy using port 80?
