I was charging for VIP access to my Vbulletin forum membership fee. This fee allowed you a bunch of cool forum stuff, AND having no ads at all to view. While guests and non-vip's have little permissions on the forum and have to view a TON of ads.

Except now all the members shared the trick in firefox to disable all the ads. Is there a way I can still make guests and non-vip's view ads in my vbulletin forum?

How can you block the Firefox adblock? Is there even a way?

set up a script when your non prem is logging in: what is the top banner on the page? A kinda catchpa system. They will start checking your ads ;)

tell them you need the ads to support the website and they're little pricks if they have to resort to disabling them

If they want to block the ads and you are not earning any revenue at all, force them to upgrade their membership in order to continue using the forums

If you had a foolproof way to do what you're asking, you'd be a multi-millionaire.

There are scripts like you are looking for because I use adblock and some sites I go to say disable adblock to view this site. Soo it does exist you just need to find it.

you can bomb bard them with with affiliate ads . . . . . . C P A L E A D S does a pretty good job at beating ad block as well
