I have access to a lot of email addresses that have been collected through the years but most of them do not want to be solicited. With the US CAN-SPAM act, is it legal to send out email blasts/send out unsolicited emails as long as you are truthful in the subject line/no false advertising, an address is provided, and an option to unsubscribe from the e-mail is included? Could someone elaborate on if this is legal at all? Also as to how you do it/have done it in the past, which email clients are the best to use (Gmails rate limit is 500 recipients per message). I do not want to have my email account suspended, my isp fining me/sending me a subpoena. Can someone shed some light on this? How can someone legally send affiliate links when they have access to a large database of email addresses?
