Not sure if you guys know about this. I'm sure those of you who own pages are aware of the 'EdgeRank'; When you set an update on your fb fan page, only a fraction of your total fan-base receive the update in their news feed. Whilst messing about with settings on my personal profile, for an annoying girl who was clogging up my news feed, i discovered something interesting and it turns out the same can be applied to fan pages. You can choose how much of a user or pages content appears in your news feed.

1. Go to a fan page that you have 'liked', but are not an administrator of.
2. Click the 'Liked' Button, then 'Settings'
3. You have three options of which updates to receive: All, Most, or Only important. It is set to 'most' by default.

If you can prompt your users to change the settings for your page, you will get much better visibility on your posts. I put together a quick banner which you are welcome to use for your pages:

In addition to this, under the 'Liked' options you can also select 'Get Notifications', which is pretty self explanatory. I think the 'get notifications' option is somewhat risky though, as if your users feel you update too much, it may cause some to unlike. Here is another banner for it anyway, that i found on an img search:

Hope this helped :)

Facebook gives a kind of a hint about how to reach much more people on facebook through you posts, and the main hint is that short simple posts and if necessary one single shorten link makes your posts much more visible. And this is a tested fact. So, you may try and this one.
