Guys, I need some guidance on my current SEO road map.

So I have some EMD domains which are “keyword + location”. I put on a WordPress, made sure all the content is 2500 minimum for all the pages, all the on-page SEO is neatly and properly done.

All the citations are clean. I have all the main social media profiles properly done.

Now the site ranks for Google My Business and some of my social media profiles rank on page 3 and 4. But on organic, it's really bad. Ranks of page 10 or 11 for most keywords.

The keyword isn’t even highly competitive. The only negative is that the domain is new (2-3 months old).

I haven’t started building any backlinks yet. Does anyone have any experience from their own sites as to what will be the best strategy moving forward to rank on organic?

Any guidance from similar previous experience will really help..?

Thanks, Ket.

I don't claim to be a SEO guru, but I think you have answered your own question. The first thing is the domain age. It is probably called "sandbox period" by the seo experts. Give it a bit more time. The second thing is obviously building links. Build good links and build them slowly. I am sure you will start seeing better results in upcoming months.
