Greetings Family

I’m looking to step into the hosting business and provide VPS/dedicated servers by leveraging cloud accounts. I already have access to multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud, Azure, Kamatera, Vultr, Linode, Ovh etc. However, I want to optimize my approach to ensure long-term success and profitability.

I’d appreciate any insights from experienced hosting resellers or those who have scaled their hosting businesses successfully.

My Current Resources:

  • Multiple cloud accounts with access to free trial credits.
  • Ability to create VPS instances and dedicated servers on-demand.
  • Basic knowledge of Linux, SSH, and cloud server deployment.
  • Experience in online sales and marketing.
My Main Concerns:

What’s the best approach? Should I sell cloud accounts directly (e.g., “10 DigitalOcean, AWS, Linode Accounts”) or focus on reselling VPS instances I create within these accounts?

Sustainability Issues:
Many of my cloud accounts are based on free trials. How can I make this business model more stable without the risk of frequent account suspensions?

Automation & Scaling:
What tools or scripts should I use to automate account creation, VPS setup, and customer management?

Pricing & Market Positioning:
What’s the ideal pricing strategy for reselling cloud resources in comparison to traditional hosting providers?

Suspended Accounts & Risk Management:
If my cloud accounts get suspended, what’s the best way to handle active VPS instances or migrate customers without service interruptions?

Finding Clients:
Which platforms or marketing strategies work best to attract long-term clients for hosting services?
