1) Make a lot of great samples.
2) Then search here how to make your name famous in google and get some traffic to your portfolio..
I saw yesterday a good thread about how to comment blog articles by your fantasy name eg. grapixdesign3r..thant name usually don't have in google search. Make your portfolio www.grapixdesign3r.com and it will get ranked high in google. And if you post into forums and blogs redirect them to your page as saying: I read a good article made by grapixdesigne3r, you should search him in google.. Don't put your URL into post because admin of the page probably won't accept your post then..
And ofc search related threads in BHW.

i learned photoshop by creating signature for various members in a graphics forum you can also watch videos of from photoshoptv etc etc

- Purchase reputable texts on design fundamentals...study as though you were taking a course in a good design program. There is no need to have a creative streak or "eye" for design... with practice, anyone can learn.
- Join a course in Graphic Designing to learn software like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In Design, etc. Don't worry about color theory or per-press; they can fix it at the printer's end. If you can not use the filters in Photoshop, you will never be a good designer.
- Keep observing the designs being featured in newspapers, magazines, hoarding etc.
- Practice designing daily on your system. Your design may not have a concept per se, but at least it will look cool. There are plenty of neighbors and people just starting out that will let you design for free. Practice makes perfect.
- Try to use different shapes, color combinations in the designs you make. Make sure to use circles. Circles are key!
- Research popular fonts, and design styles. Make sure anyone over the age of eighty can read it without their glasses.
- Further your education. Really interested in Graphic Design? Consider some classes or a degree program. Academic settings can be inspiring and networking with others in your field is always a good thing.

Usually, to become a great graphic designer, you need to have
a passion for it - a strong interest in all elements of design.
You can learn the processes, and bang out some fair designs,
but just like a musician or any other creative, you need to be
completely absorbed in it and have an aptitude for it in order
to be great at it.
Speaking for myself, in the past, I used to draw logos and
cartoons when I was supposed to be using the Study Hall
period in school for doing my homework. Then, in the early
1990's when I got my first computer, it was a no-brainer
to transfer my real world passion for graphic design to
the virtual environment.

Just be creative! If you enjoy it you'll learn faster, if you get stuck Youtube has a tutorial for pretty much everything. Good Luck!
